The tasks should be sufficiently tough to require intense effort by the learner if progress is to be made, and hence should be adjusted to the current state of expertise of the learner. Deliberate apply also includes inner reflection by the learner and suggestions from the teacher/coach, throughout which the achievement of the learner is compared with a standard, and there is an analysis of how to make additional progress. The degree of expert-like performance has been proven to be closely linked to the length of deliberate practice. Thousands of hours of deliberate apply are sometimes required to succeed in an elite level of performance. Researchers are also making great progress in figuring out how expertise is acquired, with the fundamental conclusion being that those cognitive processes which are explicitly and strenuously practiced are those which are discovered. In an identical way, the brain adjustments and develops in response to its strenuous prolonged use. Many of those parts contain making choices within the presence of restricted information—a very important however typically educationally uncared for side of experience.
